GASTRONOMIC CALENDAR 2012

Apart from the meals offered in the standard menu we are preparing something extra for guests in the form of seasonal menus. We want visitors coming to our restaurant to be able to try meals connected with a certain season, specific festival or reminiscent of the old recipes of their grandmothers.

  • Feb 1. – 15.: Sushi
    Japan, a group of islands surrounded by the sea, is a country of excellent gastronomy, which is full of the fresh fruit of the sea. Freshness, diversity of shape and color variations are some of the reasons why Japanese cuisine has especially recently been spreading throughout the whole world. Our chefs have prepared for you specialities from the most famous area of Japanese cuisine - sushi and sashimi.

  • Feb. 12th-14th: Valentines Menu
    Romantic atmosphere in the heart of Prague, flowers for the lady and the right delicacies to match the occasion of the day of lovers. Spend an unforgettable time accompanied by the captivating music of our piano player during the Valentine’s Day evening.

  • March 15th-22nd Gluten – free days
    “Even with celiac disease life can be lived to the full“ When putting together our special gastronomic calendar for the year 2011 we tried to think of those who can not usually indulge in our seasonal specialities, thus our head chef created a special gluten-free menu over which the celiac‘s heart will triumph over. So don't hesitate and come to experience fabulous gastronomic evening.

  • April 5th-9th: : Easter Menu
    Whether you celebrate the resurrection of Christ or just the onset of spring, our chef will undoubtedly please you with this menu based on spring ingredients. How can we best describe it? How about refreshing, fresh and healthy?

  • April 26 – May 6:Carpaccio & Steak Tartare Week
    TRITON Restaurant has prepared for you a week where you can experience the best among Steak Tartare and Carpaccio.

  • Apr. 26th - May 6th: Asparagus Days
    Choose from the wide choice of our asparagus meals! Asparagus symbolises to us the arrival of warmer days and under the baton of our chef it is changing into a tasty but health delicacy.

  • June 7th - 14th:Strawberry Menu
    Strawberries - need we say more? Everybody loves them. You undoubtedly also prepare them in various ways at home. But come and see what else can be prepared from strawberries. You will be pleasantly surprised!

  • Summer season: Steak & Salad special offers
    The juiciest steaks seasoned with our own herbs grown in the Franciscan Garden. Accompanied by salads of all kinds – the perfect refreshing dish for hot summer days. A new range of dishes in our menu will please not just the regulars!

  • August: Melon Days
    Magic with melons – they can be eaten and will always please your palate. But they can also be carved – creating works of art. Come, have a look and taste what a professional can make out of them …

  • September 25 – October 2: Time for Pond Fishing – Třeboň Carp
    The dawn is on the horizon, thick fog is lingering above the ground, frost has appeared on the trees and fishermen are spreading their nets. The time of pond fishing has come! Autumn mornings have their special charm, mainly on the banks of ponds, where the season of traditional fishing starts. The most reputed area with a dense network of ponds has been South Bohemia since time immemorial and from this region we have prepared for you a gastronomic delicacy in the shape of a fresh Třeboň Carp.

  • Oct. 18th-31stFlaming foods at your table
    Treat all your sences with our flambéed specialities. The staff at TRITON Restaurant will prepare a unique experience just for you right at your table.

  • Nov. 11th-13 th: Saint Martin’s Menu
    In the past St. Martin’s Day was inherently connected with the festive St. Martin’s goose. Come to taste this dish,prepared according to the traditional Bohemian recipe by our Chef

  • Nov.17th: Beaujolais Nouveau 2011
    A celebrative young wine festival. The first bottles of this Burgundy wine are traditionally opened on the third Thursday in November. Come and taste with us this year’s offering of this light and refreshing wine. Perhaps in combination with excellent French cheeses …

  • Dec. 24th: Christmas Eve
    Carp obviously cannot be missing by Czech Christmas, but the team of our Chef is preparing for you delicacies, which do not appear on your table every year. This is accompanied by the tempting smell of freshly baked Christmas sweet pastries, carols, tree decorating, live piano performance and the charming atmosphere of Christmas.

  • Dec.25 th - 26th: Boxing Day Menu of St. Stephen
    A festive lunch on Christmas Day and Boxing Day is enjoyed not only by believers. In Czech lands a goose was traditionally served on these days, for foreigners we have prepared a delicately roasted turkey.

  • 31.prosince: Silvestr 2012
    Loni na téma renesanční Praha jsme se spolu s našimi hosty přenesli do druhé poloviny 16. století, do doby vlády císaře RUDOLFA II. Prostory hotelu Adria byly dobově vyzdobeny, hosty bavil šlechtický pár, šermíři, živá historická hudba a mnoho dalších. Nahlédněte do fotogalerie ze Silvestra 2011.
