Each of us knows that there are probably not many delicacies better than the genuine strawberry jam made by our grannies – especially when you yourselves pick the fresh sun ripened strawberries in the open air, clean them, create a recipe and cook the sweet tasting treat yourselves … Such a strawberry bomb has been prepared for you by the Adria Hotel staff who want to ensure their guests get a really good start to the new day – an excellent breakfast.
Ing. Karel Doubek, Director of the Adria Hotel, explained how this unique “Adria” strawberry jam was born: “In the Adria Hotel we always try to surprise our guests with lovely, unique and very personal experiences, whether they are large or small. We call them personal, because we think them up ourselves and then we pool our resources and put the ideas into practice. This was also so in the case of our jam production – we spent one day together picking strawberries in special strawberry fields, then we cleaned them and prepared them using our own recipe in a way that preserves all the most important components of strawberry jam, i.e. the strawberry aroma and flavour! Now we hope our guests will enjoy eating the jam as much as we enjoyed making it for them.”
Our strawberry jam is not the only nice surprise awaiting the guests of the all-Czech Adria Hotel. For example, after their arrival guests are welcomed with a glass of water from the spring where the original settlers of the Town of Prague made their first dwellings 25 thousand years ago, guests can also find in their rooms a herb bouquet, which the staff picked themselves, and during breakfast they can enjoy the fritters of our own making or the special “Teresa’s pancakes”, made according to the recipe created for the guests by the Manageress of the Adria Hotel restaurant.
