Most hotels decrease quality of their services during the economic crisis, Adria Hotel Prague, on the other hand, increases them! The commissars of the new hotel classification that is valid from 1. 1. 2010 who strictly screen the quality of services of each certified hotel, have rated, till now four-star Adria Hotel Prague, as a four-star superior hotel with the following words “The highest class professionally led ideally located hotel! An example to other hotels – totally rigorous, conscientious and consistent!” The attribute “superior” highlights within given category those businesses that have notably more value points than needed. A hotel needs exceedingly high first-rate services to accomplish such a high number of points. In the case of Adria Hotel Prague the number of accomplished points equals norms for a five-star hotel. The only difference is in the structure of obligatory and optional points.
And what has exactly changed? “Hotel Stars” are one of the key factors in customer’s decision making process when choosing an accommodation. Customer searching for an accommodation is from the beginning of 2010 in a better position. In his selection will now help a new official harmonized classification system aiming to provide hotel guests with more transparent and reliable information across countries in Europe. The alliance of those European countries include Austria, The Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands, Sweden and Switzerland. The new classification system with an official name “Hotelstars Union” under the HOTREC confederation – Hotels, Restaurants & Cafes in Europe – is historically the first international hotel classification in Europe.
