Adria Hotel Prague lends a helping hand once again! The hotel’s employees and their invited business partners set off on the30th September 2010 - for the third time already -  with paint brushes, paints and grinders, to neighboring Franciscan garden to help repair and paint as many benches as possible and give them back their glory after the summer season.

The „Painting benches“ event is just one of many activities Adria Hotel Prague embraces  (Bird boxes in Prague, Adria’s cycle ride; Cleaning of a spring Petřínka, The Day without Cars, Earth hour, Prague’s jogging path - to name a few). A collective symbol of these activities is EU Ecolabel – The Flower who Adria Hotel Prague is a holder of for already second year.

Adria Hotel Prague, as an event organizer, supplied each participant with all necessary utilities; cleaning products, sand papers, paints, brushes and… a beer barrel with a „small“ snack. Bench painting was attended by about 20 volunteers and it was quite surprising how much energy they plunged into the painting with. The work went swiftly and  as last year the whole event culminated with spontaneous competition who will paint the most benches. At the end of the day, hardworking participants evaluated their work as exceedingly successful. They have done a great job indeed – benches shine with glory once again.
