Care of you combined with care of the environment brings us joy. A common denomination of this effort is the EU Ecolabel, which - as the first four star hotel in Prague – we have acquired.
Also our guests that decide to make use of our services during their stay in Prague help us to significantly contribute to the protection of the environment. Therefore even our guests have a reason to rejoice!

By many different measurements we have managed, along with our guests, to reduce energy consumption by 16 % and gas by 12%, i.e. a total of 355 thousand kWh. Thereby we have cut the ecological burden of CO2 emissions by 453 tonnes, which is equivalent of 1.6 million driven kilometres, at least 95 cars taken out of operation or 11,855 trees saved – an average sized tree absorbs around 6 kg of CO2 a year, so in 40 years it would have absorbed approx. 250 kg of CO2!
Waste sorting and other measures relating to our efforts to minimise waste production have resulted in its reduction of 20%, which is 65 m3. For better idea such a volume represents so much waste that would in a year fill up the Neptun breakfast room of Adria Hotel Prague. We have cut down on hotel’s water consumption by 4%, which equals 580 m3 – the average liquid intake of 232 000 adults. This volume of water would fill up all the hotel conference halls – i.e. Neptun, Pluton and all the hotel lounges and meeting rooms up to the ceiling.
The enumeration could continue on many other pages. In any case helping and having a positive impact on the environment definitely does not mean making large investments. Each of us can contribute more or less by the way we live and the way we act.
